Role Requirements:

+ Lead and mentor a team of embedded software engineers

+ Oversee the design, development, testing, and maintenance of safety-critical embedded software

+ Work closely with customers to understand requirements and support project delivery

+ Collaborate with internal teams to ensure high-quality, on-time solutions

+ Carry out code reviews and promote best engineering practices

+ Identify risks, solve technical issues, and ensure project alignment

+ Support the growth and development of less experienced engineers

Key Skills Required:

+ Strong experience in embedded software development within a safety-critical environment (Aerospace)

+ Proficient experience of embedded systems and real-time operating systems

+ Proficiency in C programming

+ Strong knowledge of the full software development lifecycle

+ Experience working to safety standards
