Head of Marketing – £80,000–£100,000 | Cambridge | On-site (5 days per week)

My client is seeking a dynamic and visionary Head of Marketing to lead their B2B and B2G marketing strategy and drive business growth. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing, innovative technology company based in Cambridge .

In this senior leadership role, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering the company’s marketing strategy across multiple channels — including brand, digital, PR, product marketing, events, and internal/external communications. You’ll combine strategic vision with hands-on execution, ensuring the company’s brand is elevated and its value proposition clearly communicated to customers, partners, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic multi-channel marketing and brand plans aligned with growth objectives.
• Lead internal and external communications, including media relations, PR, and thought leadership.
• Drive digital, social media, and content marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness globally.
• Oversee demand generation campaigns and manage relationships with agencies and media partners.
• Manage budgets, track marketing performance, and report on ROI.
• Lead and mentor the marketing team, fostering collaboration and innovation.

About You

• Proven experience in a strategic B2B/B2G marketing leadership role , ideally within a technology or communications sector.
• Skilled in brand management, messaging, and leveraging PR for thought leadership.
• Strong analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to campaign performance and ROI.
• Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills.
• Degree-qualified with a recognised marketing qualification.
• Confident team leader with a collaborative approach and hands-on attitude.
• Some travel may be required (UK and international).
