IT Support & Software Engineer


About the role

We are partnering with a well-established and growing company in Buckinhamshire. They are looking for a talented IT Support & Software Engineer to join their team. 

This is a hands-on role where you will work across IT support, software development, and system integration projects.

 

Responsibilities
 

General IT Support:

- Set up Windows PCs/laptops and install software for employees.

- Provide training on company-wide software systems.

- Liaise with external IT support for troubleshooting.

- Maintain and upgrade company servers.

- Set up NUCs and install software for customers.

 

Internal Software (EMS):

- Ongoing development and improvements.

- Build and develop reports for departments.

- Perform mass changes to system data as requested.

- Manage interactions between EMS and Sage.

- Maintain DevOps, log bugs, and manage change requests.

- Review and mitigate security vulnerabilities.

- Ensure accurate data and policy compliance.
 

Requirements

- 3+ years’ commercial development experience

- Strong knowledge of C#, .NET 7/8, .NET Framework, WinForms

- Experience with T-SQL & SSRS, Entity Framework / EF Core, IIS, Azure DevOps / Git

- Experience with Xamarin and ASP.NET

- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
