Quality Assurance Manager

Quality Manager - Southampton- Electronics / Automotive

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Manager to join an innovative technology company based in Fareham. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving and developing quality systems within a growing business focused on cutting-edge hardware, software and firmware products.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Lead and develop the company’s Quality Assurance systems alongside the engineering team

+ Act as the lead contact for QA-related customer activities including pre-sales support, certifications, production quality and failure analysis

+ Support audits, management reviews and customer feedback processes, ensuring actions are completed effectively

+ Maintain and improve the Business Management System and associated documentation

+ Prepare and manage internal and external audit schedules

+ Create, revise and maintain procedures, forms and work instructions

+ Prepare quality documentation, reports and statistical analysis

Skills & Experience Required:

+ Degree qualified in Engineering, Electronics, Physics, Computer Science or a related technical discipline

+ ISO 9001 accreditation and strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems

+ Experience implementing and developing quality or business management systems

+ Proven experience leading internal and external QA audits

+ ISO 9001 internal auditor accreditation

+ Strong documentation, reporting and communication skills

+ Ability to analyse data and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Location: Southampton

Salary: Up to £65k
