Senior Electronics Test Technician | Cambridge

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the procurement and inventory of laboratory supplies, including electronic components, consumables, gas cylinders, and small tools.
  • Coordinate the maintenance and calibration of test equipment through approved service providers, ensuring operational reliability.
  • Handle the procurement of PCBs and component kits for prototyping and testing activities.
  • Perform PCB assembly using manual techniques
  • Conduct optical inspection and quality checks on sensor devices to ensure manufacturing standards are met.
  • Support the design and development of electronic and fluidic test setups, providing hands-on input to improve system functionality and test efficiency.


Key Skills and Experience:

  • HNC or higher qualification in a relevant engineering or science discipline.
  • Proven experience working in a new product development or R&D environment.
  • Strong practical knowledge of electronics, including test and measurement principles.
  • Hands-on experience with a wide range of test and measurement equipment, with the ability to set up, operate, and interpret results effectively
