Senior Firmware Engineer | Cambridge | £60-70k

Are you an experienced firmware engineer passionate about working on the most cutting-edge tech? My client is looking for a Senior Firmware Engineer to help redefine radar technology.

You'll be joining a high-energy, engineering-led company that is fully funded and rapidly growing. They own their own hardware and you'll get the chance to be very hands on with the application of the technology too!

The future of this role is a spot on the senior leadership team of a fast-growing scale-up in a market that is not demand-constrained.

Responsibilities:

+ Develop embedded C firmware and algorithms for next-gen sensor data processing

+ Mentor junior developers and take responsibility for key design areas as you progress into senior leadership.

+ Become an expert in the business's radar products with full support for L&D

Experience Required:

+ Proficiency with C programming (bare metal & RTOS), and experienced with Python

+ Working knowledge of signal processing & filtering

+ Experience with ARM Cortex architecture

+ Experience in a role mentoring others or leading a team technically

Highly Desirable Experience:

+ Experience with TI radar chipsets

+ Passion for flight systems, radars, drones, aerospace etc.
