My client, a fast-growing technology and data analytics business, is looking for a Senior Quantitative Specialist to join its research and development team. This role focuses on developing statistical football models, analysing complex datasets, and building automated betting and performance analysis solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance football modelling and statistical analysis systems
• Acquire, clean, and process data from multiple sources
• Analyse trends and patterns within complex datasets
• Build automation and data processing tools
• Support back-testing, simulations, and performance analysis
• Identify opportunities for process and model improvements
• Collaborate closely with data scientists and software engineers

Requirements

• Commercial experience using Python, R, or similar programming languages
• Experience developing football models within industry environments
• Strong statistical modelling and data analytics skills
• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar quantitative discipline
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
