Software Engineer

Software Developer | Gloucester | Circa £80,000

I’m working with a highly technical client in Gloucester who are looking for an experienced Software Developer to join their growing team.

This is a varied role where you’ll work on complex, real-world systems while also mentoring junior developers.

Key responsibilities:

• Developing signal & image processing applications
• Building secure Cross Domain Solutions
• Supporting and training end users
• Mentoring junior engineers

What I’m looking for:

• 3+ years’ software development experience
• Strong skills in C/C++ (Python/MATLAB a bonus)
• Experience developing complex systems
• Comfortable working with Linux environments
• Strong academic background (numerate degree)

Desirable:

• GUI development (HTML/JavaScript)
• Git or Subversion

Package:

• Circa £80,000
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays
• 10% pension
