Software Engineer

Location: London (onsite, full-time)

Compensation: Competitive base + discretionary performance-based cash bonus

We’re looking for an Engineer with DeFi experience (or strong interest) to a 1-man Defi Trading shop, building and scaling a profitable automated DeFi trading system. The system is live, consistently profitable, and fully market-neutral, with a current AUM of $10M+. You’ll work directly with the founder to optimise existing infrastructure, develop new venue connectors, and expand trading strategies across on-chain ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve and optimise the existing DeFi trading system written primarily in Rust and Solidity, need to have a personal interest in the languages
• Design and build new connectors to access additional venues and liquidity sources
• Collaborate directly with the founder on strategy implementation and system architecture
• Monitor and maintain live systems to ensure performance and reliability
• Participate in idea generation and contribute to ongoing R&D in systematic DeFi strategies

Requirements

• Anyone with 2–3+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong proficiency in Rust (or another systems language with proven Rust competency through projects)
• Familiarity with DeFi protocols , smart contracts, or on-chain trading systems
• Ideally experience with a trading firm, exchange, platform where you have worked with building new connectors.

Onsite in London (Paddington WeWork) .

Competitive base salary + performance bonus; equity not required
