A custom technology solutions company is seeking an Accounts Payable Administrator to join their dynamic finance team. This role offers a competitive basic salary, on-site parking, a bonus scheme, and an array of attractive benefits.
As an Accounts Payable Administrator, you will report to the AP Team Leader and play a crucial role in managing the processing of stock, overhead, and employee expenses. You will also drive process improvements to enhance team efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:

Accurately process up to 2,000 invoices per month across various currencies.

Take ownership of the creditor's ledger, GRNI, and returns ledger.

Resolve supplier queries and manage supplier relationships in collaboration with the wider business.

Reconcile the AP ledger to supplier statements.

Process supplier payments, including those in foreign currencies.

Optimise cashflow management, particularly at key points in the year, in coordination with the group treasury function.

Set up new suppliers, manage supplier master files, and handle proforma invoice payments.

Ensure correct VAT processing on purchase invoices, including employee expenses and international invoices.
Experience/Knowledge

Proven experience in Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, payment setup, AP close, new supplier setup, and resolving supplier queries.

Experience with multi-currency invoices.

Knowledge of VAT on UK and foreign stock purchases and employee expenses.

Experience in a multi-site/plc environment.

Proficient user of JD Edwards or equivalent ERP system.

Confident with MS Office, particularly intermediate Excel skills.
