Office Administrator
Location: nr Guildford, Surrey (On-site)Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: 30 - 35k pa
We're looking for a proactive, organised, and professional Office Administrator to become the central point of our workplace operations. This hands-on role is responsible for ensuring the office runs smoothly while supporting HR, facilities, and IT activities to create a positive experience for employees, visitors, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the day-to-day running of the office, ensuring a clean, safe, organised, and professional environment.
- Manage office supplies, stationery, post, courier services, and supplier deliveries.
- Coordinate maintenance, liaise with contractors and service providers, and support facilities management.
- Welcome visitors, answer phone calls and emails, and provide excellent front-of-house support.
- Organise meetings and events, including room bookings, catering, and meeting room setup.
- Support HR administration, including onboarding, offboarding, recruitment administration, employee records, and compliance checks.
- Assist with health and safety activities, including risk assessments, fire drills, and maintaining compliance documentation.
- Coordinate IT equipment, workspace setup for new starters and leavers, and maintain company asset records.
- Maintain office procedures and identify opportunities to improve workplace efficiency.
- Provide general administrative support across the business as required.
You'll be highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities, and enjoy working in a varied, fast-paced environment. You'll have previous office administration experience, excellent communication skills, good knowledge of Microsoft Office, and a proactive, customer-focused approach. Experience supporting HR, facilities, or office management would be an advantage.
