Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Manager. The Business Development Manager will identify potential business growth opportunities, develop client relationships, and create strategies to achieve sales targets. Day-to-day responsibilities include market research, prospecting for new clients, negotiating contracts, working with prepared sales presentations, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of business initiatives. Business networking events, both in person and via Zoom are key marketing tasks of the company and the Business Development Manager will be expected to attend a minimum of 14 of such events weekly. The sales element of the role is highly presentational and the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate exceptional communication skills.
The role has a competitive basic salary along with excellent commission and bonus potential to a total year one OTE of circa £45,000 rising through the company's residual income model to a year two OTE of circa £90,000.
Qualifications
- Expertise in business development, market research, networking and client presentations.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in sales forecasting and strategic planning
- Experience with CRM tools and data analysis
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
