Customer Service Coordinator (Part Time) 22.5 hours per week 12-month fixed term contract Customer Service Coordinator An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Coordinator to join a busy UK sales and customer service environment on a 12-month fixed-term, part-time basis. Working 22.5 hours across three 7.5 hour days each week, you will manage customer orders and enquiries throughout the Order to Cash process, from account and order management through to invoicing, credits and payment queries. You will work closely with customers, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Quality, Regulatory Affairs and Marketing to ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently. The role also offers the opportunity to become a key user for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, supporting system improvements, user adoption, testing and business process optimisation. This is an ideal role for an experienced customer service or order management professional who enjoys problem-solving, building strong customer relationships and improving the way processes and systems work.Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as a key contact for direct customers, wholesalers, distributors, veterinary customers and internal commercial teams, managing enquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Process customer orders and manage the end-to-end Order-to-Cash cycle, including customer accounts, order validation, pricing, stock allocation, deliveries, invoicing, credits, returns and payment queries.
- Monitor order fulfilment, stock constraints and supply interruptions, providing customers with clear and proactive updates on availability, back orders and delivery issues.
- Work collaboratively with Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing and external logistics partners to resolve customer and operational issues.
- Support the supply of veterinary medicines and animal health products while maintaining appropriate standards around traceability, batch management, controlled distribution and regulatory compliance.
- Provide high-quality customer call handling and support business continuity by providing cover for the Customer Service Technical Team within defined competencies.
- Act as a local JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Key User, providing first-line support, assisting with issue resolution, developing test scripts, leading UAT activities and supporting system enhancements.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, support process and system changes, deliver user training and maintain relevant work instructions, SOPs and knowledge documentation.
- Previous experience within customer service, order management or Order-to-Cash environments, with an understanding of ERP-driven business processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong commitment to providing friendly, professional customer service.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel, alongside good English and Mathematics qualifications at GCSE/O Level or equivalent.
- Excellent analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Collaborative team player with strong relationship-building skills, commercial awareness and the ability to take ownership of issues through to resolution or appropriate handover.
- An understanding of Good Distribution Practice (GDP) principles and, ideally, experience as an ERP key user, business process owner or subject matter expert.
- This is a part-time role on a 12-month fixed term contract

- MUST be able to drive, due to rural location
