Test and Measurement Technician

Location: Saffron Walden (CB10) Duration: Permanent Hours: 9am until 5:30pm (Monday to Friday) Salary: Competitive Job Reference: 35766 We're looking for a Test and Measurement Technician to join our client's team based near Saffron Walden. This role might suit candidates at an early stage in their career or equally would be suitable for more senior candidates not seeking career progression. You will support product development by performing hands-on testing of RF and electronic systems. This includes executing test plans, operating RF equipment, documenting results and collaborating with engineers. Responsibilities: * Conducting tests using RF equipment (spectrum analysers, power meters, etc.) * Documenting results clearly * Assisting in test automation using scripting tools * Performing basic fault-finding on circuits * Collaborating with engineers to interpret results Requirements: * Experience with RF test equipment * Understanding of test methodologies * Proficiency in documentation (Excel, Word) * Basic electronics knowledge * Familiarity with scripting (Python, MATLAB) is a plus * You should have strong attention to detail, be analytical and quality-focused Please contact us as soon as possible for more details or apply below!
