**Audio Visual Infrastructure Specialist** (Contract)

Duration: 6 Months (Possibility for extension)

Location: Leeds/Hybrid (2 days per week on site)

Rate: A highly competitive Umbrella Day Rate is available for suitable candidates

Role Profile

As an Audio Visual Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining innovative workplace meeting solutions. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external technology suppliers to evaluate user requirements and develop integrated AV solutions within our architectural environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct needs analysis with internal stakeholders to ensure AV technology aligns with Future Workplace design and strategy.
  • Provide expert guidance on system design to meet operational and functional requirements, addressing infrastructure needs such as acoustics, lighting, and building elements.
  • Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation, including scope of works, system functionality descriptions, and solution designs.
  • Collaborate with the Infrastructure Specialist Lead, Product Owner, and stakeholders to evaluate vendor proposals based on operational needs.
  • Create and maintain a Future Workplace Technology Roadmap in partnership with colleagues.
  • Work with internal teams such as networks, compliance, risk, and security to ensure system designs adhere to compliance standards and policies.

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
  • Creative and methodical approach to technical design and spatial challenges.
  • Self-motivated, accountable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, independent environment.
  • Detailed knowledge of AV vendors including Poly, Microsoft Teams, Cisco, Crestron, Extron, Shure, and related technologies.
  • Proficient in creating and maintaining detailed documentation, system designs, and visualisations.
  • Familiarity with remote management and monitoring solutions is a plus.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry-standard hardware and proprietary tools.
  • Excellent coordination skills to manage multiple tasks and meetings effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies is advantageous.
  • Avixa CTS Certification
  • Microsoft Teams Certification
  • Relevant industry-specific training
