Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a talented Automation Application Developer for a temporary contract of 6 months. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your skills in a dynamic environment!

Role: Automation Application Developer

Duration: 6 Months (ext. options)

Location: London (Hybrid, 5 out of 10 days in office)

Rate: £415 - per day (umbrella)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automation solutions using UiPath.
  • Create complex processes from scratch and lead RPA solution design.
  • Collaborate with IT and business units to ensure seamless integration of automation applications.
  • Conduct proof-of-concept evaluations for new technologies.
  • Perform development, testing, and deployment of RPA solutions, defining test scenarios.
  • Provide support during out-of-office hours as necessary.

What We're Looking For:

Essential Qualifications:

  • University degree in Software Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or similar fields.
  • UiPath Academy Advanced Certification (RPA Developer Level 1 & 2, Advanced Training).

Essential Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of MS .NET Framework and Object-Oriented Programming.
  • Proficient in SQL and relational databases, particularly SQL Server.
  • In-depth knowledge of UiPath and experience creating 20+ processes of varying complexity.

Experience:

  • Proven C# .NET and SQL development experience.
  • Good experience in Windows application development and RPA technologies.
  • Leading experience in RPA solution design and unattended robot development.
  • Familiarity with Citrix platforms and Orchestrator operations.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in financial services and WPF development.
  • Knowledge of API automation and Agile/DevOps methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Generative AI in UiPath automation cloud.

Core Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical abilities to critique designs and provide feedback.
  • Ability to multi-task on multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Personal Qualities:

  • Good timekeeping and a proactive approach to taking responsibility.
  • Willingness to adapt to early morning or late-night shifts when required.
