We're seeking a skilled professional who can combine analytical expertise with hands-on testing experience to drive the successful delivery of IT solutions in the payments sector.
Role: Business Analyst
Duration: 8 Months
Location: London (Hybrid, 2 to 3 days a week in office)
Rate: £475 to £675 per day (umbrella)
What You'll Do:
As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the testing processes for our banking payment systems. Here's what you can expect:
- End-to-End Testing Analysis: Conduct a thorough review of our testing processes to ensure quality and functionality from inception to deployment.
- Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document IT and business testing requirements, along with process mapping for payment testing.
- Process Analysis: Evaluate and optimize existing payment testing processes and tools for improved efficiency.
- Test Planning: Collaborate with IT and Business testing teams to develop detailed test plans, test cases, and scripts that ensure full traceability.
- Data Analysis: Analyze transaction data to support decision-making and uncover valuable insights.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment on project goals.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation, including process maps, business requirements, and user guides.
- Project Management: Assist in planning, tracking, and reporting to ensure timely delivery of payment solutions.
- Compliance: Ensure that all solutions meet regulatory standards and industry best practices.
What We're Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with extensive experience in testing within the banking payments sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in testing tools and methodologies, with a solid understanding of payment systems.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to interpret complex data.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to translate technical jargon for non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to all tasks ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
- Team Player: A collaborative spirit that thrives in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, ISTQB Certified Tester) are a plus.
- Previous experience in a financial institution or payment processing company is highly desirable.
