Job Title: Business Change Analyst

Location: Warwick (2 days a week on site)

Contract Type: 6 months contract

Our client, a leading organisation in the utilities sector, is seeking a dynamic Business Change Analyst to play a pivotal role in their National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET) ETCC programme team. This exciting opportunity allows you to contribute to the evolution and improvement of the energy network that powers the nation!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion Change: Advocate for the importance of change within the programme and wider business areas, ensuring stakeholders fully comprehend the changes and garnering user and customer support.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to clearly define business problems by eliciting, analysing, and documenting requirements. Facilitate workshops to interpret business and user needs for new processes and technologies.
  • Requirements Management: Capture and document business processes and requirements, maintaining these outputs until handover into the business.
    • Data Analysis: Utilise SQL to analyse data sets, identifying trends, patterns, and insights to support data-driven recommendations and decisions. Record risks and dependencies effectively.
      • Management Reporting: Establish management reporting mechanisms through Power BI dashboards, ensuring information integrity and coordinating updates.
        • Technology Process Alignment: Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring solutions meet business needs and deliver tangible value.
          • Training & Capability Building: Collaborate with the Change Lead and Product Specialist to identify training needs, supporting users during testing phases and assessing operational impacts.

What You'll Need:

  • Proven experience in business analysis and change within a large, complex programme, including the creation of detailed documentation (BRD, user stories, process maps).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of business analysis principles and practises (e.g., DMAIC).
  • Strong dataanalytics skills with proficiency in Power BI.
    • A track record of influencing stakeholders and aligning solutions to meet business needs.
      • Familiarity with requirements management tools and business intelligence software (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Power BI).
        • Excellent documentation skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, and accurate outputs.
      • Understanding ofUML (Unified Modelling Language) andBPMN (Business Process Modelling Notation).
        • Knowledge of the energy sector and its operational practises.
          • Exceptional emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and storytelling abilities.

This role is based out of our client's Warwick offices for two days a week, with the flexibility of hybrid working from home. Travel may be required to the Hams Hall site as needed.
