C# Developer

Location: London (3 days onsite per week)Contract: 6 months Rate: £415 per day (via umbrella company)

We're looking for a hands-on C# .NET Developer to join our JRIE Development team as an AVP. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on business-critical Windows applications in a collaborative, technically strong environment. • Develop and maintain C# .NET Windows applications using SQL Server and Oracle.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Write and optimize SQL scripts (T-SQL and PL/SQL).
• Support production, disaster recovery, and development environments.
• Collaborate with DBAs, infrastructure, and support teams across London and New York.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across application and database layers.
• Follow change management procedures and maintain application change history.
• Provide occasional out-of-hours support (weekday/weekend).

• Strong hands-on experience in C# and .NET development.
• Solid background in Windows application development.
• Proficient in SQL scripting, especially with large datasets.
• Understanding of MS .NET Framework and object-oriented programming.
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to review and critique code and designs constructively.
• Self-motivated, quality-focused, and organised.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related fields.
• Experience with Agile delivery, CI/CD tools, and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to web application development, IIS configuration, and network setup.
• Interest in broader cultural topics such as literature, psychology, or the arts.
