About the Role: As a Change Controller, you will play a vital role in monitoring and enhancing our organization's performance, particularly concerning outage plan changes. You'll leverage your expertise in Excel, VBA, and Power BI to deliver insightful reports that support decision-making at all levels of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Governance: Define and operate a framework for decision-making while managing stakeholder relationships and identifying legitimate authority.
  • Change Control: Ensure that changes to our plans are controlled and coordinated effectively.
  • Business Intelligence: Develop, produce, and deliver regular and one-off management information to provide insights and aid decision-making.
  • Collaboration: Partner with business sponsors to define success metrics and criteria, leading cross-departmental collaboration on KPIs and data sharing.
  • Dashboards: Create dashboards using BI tools to provide actionable insights from operational to executive levels, driving business improvements.
  • Documentation: Document planning decisions and rationale to enhance visibility of delivery performance and change control.
  • Reporting: Provide one-off and ad hoc reporting to support monthly KPI packs.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Previous experience in outage planning or power systems engineering is highly beneficial.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in VBA, Excel, and Power BI is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders at various levels, both written and verbal.
  • Time Management: Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Numerate & Literate: A solid understanding of numerical data and computer literacy.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the utility regulatory environment and a clear understanding of how our organization operates and its challenges is desirable.
