Job Title: Content Designer (UX Writer)
Location: Bristol Harbourside/Edinburgh/Manchester/Halifax

Hybrid Working: 2 days onsite per week
Contract Length: 6 months

Who we're looking for
We're seeking a Content Designer / UX Writer to help bring our digital experiences to life across web and app platforms. If you have a passion for using language to simplify, guide, and connect, this is your chance to create real impact in a team that shapes products used by millions.

About the Role
In this role, you'll combine research, strategy, and storytelling to develop people-focused content that supports customers in achieving their goals. You'll work in a collaborative, agile environment with product owners, designers, and developers-taking ownership of content decisions and aligning tone and messaging with user needs and business intent.

What you'll be doing
Create clear, engaging, and accessible content for digital journeys
Use insights and research to shape conversations and experiences
Act as the content expert in agile squads
Define and maintain tone of voice and messaging consistency across touchpoints
Influence design thinking and share content best practices
Collaborate with legal, compliance, and branding stakeholders
Contribute to the overall UX strategy through writing and communication

What we're looking for
Proven experience as a UX Writer, Content Designer, or Conversation Designer
Ability to write in multiple tones of voice and adapt to different channels
Confident working in regulated or complex environments (financial services ideal)
Comfortable using design tools like Figma and collaborating within product teams
Skilled at balancing user needs, business goals, and legal requirements
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
