The Role
Join a major UK financial services organisation and help drive its enterprise data resilience agenda. You'll ensure critical data assets are secure, available, and recoverable within regulatory tolerances, working across a large, complex technology landscape.
This role blends hands-on technical expertise with senior stakeholder influence in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead data resilience initiatives across on-prem, cloud, and third-party environments.
Design and embed resilience controls across data flows, middleware, APIs, messaging, and batch processes.
Perform data resilience assessments and identify risks across availability, integrity, and security.
Build end-to-end data lineage using tools such as Ins-Pi and ServiceNow.
Present findings and influence remediation through senior governance forums.
Skills & Experience
Essential
Strong experience in data resilience, backup/recovery, encryption, messaging, batch processing, and cloud technologies.
Banking or insurance background with knowledge of critical services (e.g. payments, cards, pensions).
Understanding of FCA, PRA, and EBA operational resilience expectations.
Risk, control, and enterprise architecture experience.
Desirable
Hybrid cloud resilience and disaster recovery experience.
