About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly organised, driven Event Programs Manager to join our UK & North Marketing Team. In this pivotal role, you will manage a portfolio of in-person and virtual events ranging from intimate executive engagements (30-100 attendees) to large-scale flagship events (500-1000 attendees). You will be part of a high-performing team that collaborates across marketing, sales, and product organisations to deliver industry-leading event experiences.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage End-to-End Event Execution: Oversee all aspects of planning, production, execution, and post-event analysis.
- Support Multiple Event Types:
- Cisco Engage Events (30-100 people): 10-15 events per quarter.
- Cisco Connect Events (500-1000 people): 1-2 per year.
- Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams: Work with sales, architecture, content teams, agencies, and local marketing for content, logistics, and event strategy.
- Utilise Cvent Platform: Create, manage, and optimise event registration and attendee experiences.
- Deliver Measurable Impact: Drive pipeline generation and lead management through data tagging, tracking, and ROI reporting.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Regularly communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
- Ensure Compliance: Align with our client's policies, privacy regulations (GDPR), and sustainability standards.
- Financial Support: Manage POs, budgets, and partner funding in line with compliance.
What You'll Bring
- event management experience in a global corporate or agency environment.
- Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working with event technology platforms (Cvent preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and marketing automation tools.
- Ability to communicate effectively-both written and verbal-with diverse stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, policy-driven environment.
- A strategic thinker who also delivers tactical excellence.
- Strong stakeholder and vendor management experience.
- Experience working with lead management and omnichannel marketing processes.
- Language skills: Fluent English; proficiency in another language is a plus.
