Salary: From £65,000 per annum - dependant on experience
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, office-based 2 days a week)

Our client, a global leader in financial technology, is looking for a talented Financial Controls & Reconciliations Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join their dynamic team! About the Role:
As the Financial Controls & Reconciliations SME, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing financial processes and ensuring robust controls during the implementation of the CredAble system. Your expertise will be crucial in reconciling financial data and maintaining cash flow integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the implementation of the CredAble system within strict timelines.
- Manage the manual transfer of data from CredAble to Oracle in the interim.
- Oversee system feeds from CredAble into Oracle and ensure controls for Demica and CredAble customers.
- Design the future operating model for bank reconciliations related to Demica and CredAble.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of Oracle and Prism for both systems.
- Actively participate in governance meetings to steer the project in the right direction.
- Own the balance sheet reconciliation process and escalate issues as necessary.
Essential Skills:
- Systems & Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Excel and data manipulation tools; familiarity with ARC (Account Reconciliation Compliance) processes.
- Financial Control & Reconciliation: Deep understanding of balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow management, and system transitions.
- Project & Change Management: Proven ability to deliver system implementations on tight deadlines and design improved financial processes.
- Governance & Risk Management: Strong knowledge of financial governance frameworks and proactive risk management.
- Communication & Leadership: Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
Previous experience in a finance role, ideally within banking or financial services.
