Rate: A highly competitive Umbrella Day Rate is available for suitable candidates

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Front Office Pricing Developer to join our team on a fixed-term contract. This role is pivotal in enhancing our pricing systems for Rates, FX, Credit, and Equities, ensuring we remain at the forefront of market technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain low-latency pricing applications that support trading activities across various asset classes.
  • Collaborate closely with traders and quantitative analysts to understand pricing requirements and implement effective solutions.
  • Conduct in-depth data analytics to identify pricing trends, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Work with the technology stack, primarily utilizing Java and C++, to create robust and scalable applications.
  • Perform rigorous testing and debugging to ensure the integrity and performance of pricing systems.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing systems and processes, ensuring they align with industry best practices.
  • Participate in team meetings and provide insights on project progress and challenges.
  • Solve unique and complex problems with impact to Markets Value Stream of Commercial Banking
  • Ensure quality and completeness of the product through unit tests, integration tests, BDD tests and maintenance as appropriate.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Pricing Developer or in a similar role within a trading environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in multi-threading
  • Experience working with Markets Front Office technology is preferred, in particular with knowledge of interest rate swaps, bonds and futures
  • Strong knowledge of pricing methodologies for Rates, FX, Credit, and Equities.
  • Proficiency in Java and C++ with a focus on low-latency application development.
  • Solid understanding of data analytics and the ability to interpret complex datasets.
  • Experience working on a trading floor, with a thorough understanding of trading processes and market dynamics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
