They are seeking an experienced Governance and Supplier Risk Analyst to join the Group Sourcing & Supplier Management (GS&SM) team. The position is being offered on an initial contract to the end of March 2027, hybrid working being based from on of the above locations 2 days a week with the remaining 3 days working from home.
About the Role
GS&SM plays a vital role in both cost efficiencies and revenue generation, helping the business make informed decisions that balance pace, value and risk when acquiring goods and services.
They are looking for a Governance & Supplier Risk Analyst to support the delivery of regulatory, audit and framework-related activities across the GS&SM function. This role will help coordinate actions arising from regulatory reviews, risk assessments and audit findings while supporting the ongoing development of governance processes, reporting and data-driven improvements.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience supporting change initiatives within a regulated environment who enjoys working with data, controls and stakeholder groups.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of regulatory, risk and audit remediation activities across GS&SM.
- Track actions arising from audits, regulatory reviews and governance assessments.
- Maintain delivery plans, milestones, action logs, risks and evidence repositories.
- Support policy owners with implementing and embedding framework requirements.
- Analyse governance and operational data to identify trends, issues and opportunities.
- Work with stakeholders to improve data quality, reporting and control effectiveness.
- Produce regular management information, reporting packs and governance updates.
- Coordinate responses to governance, risk and audit requests.
- Manage shared mailbox activity and ensure queries are directed and resolved appropriately.
- Support the integration and optimisation of governance and supplier management data across multiple tools and processes.
Skills & Experience
- Experience within a regulated environment such as Financial Services, Utilities, Insurance, Telecommunications or similar.
- Experience supporting change, governance, risk or control initiatives.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience working with data, reporting and analysis.
- Good stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with large data sets.
- Experience producing management information and governance reporting.
- Knowledge of sourcing, supplier management, third-party risk, policy or controls would be advantageous.
