Remuneration: Daily rate from £500.00
Contract Details: 6 Month Contract
Governance & Policy Leadership
- Own and maintain drawing standards and Business Management System requirements.
- Develop and update governance policies and procedures for drawings management.
- Monitor compliance across projects, escalating risks and influencing corrective actions.
Strategic Process Improvement & Digital Enablement
- Drive initiatives to digitise approval workflows and optimise drawing-related processes.
- Collaborate with BIM specialists and digital engineering teams for model-based delivery.
- Champion continuous improvement and lead the integration of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
- Test, pilot, and build digital workflows, ensuring robust, user-friendly solutions.
- Identify and implement opportunities to replace manual processes with automated alternatives.
Regional & Programme Support
- Provide guidance to regional teams for backlog clearance and compliance.
- Serve as a senior contact for drawing-related queries and governance issues.
- Support DC&I programme objectives by embedding digital workflows and enhancing user experience.
Assurance & Reporting
- Lead assurance processes for drawings and maintain clear reporting lines for activities.
- Produce compliance dashboards and strategic reports for leadership visibility.
- Support audits and regulatory reviews with timely, accurate responses.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders across Operations, Capital Delivery, and external providers.
- Communicate policy changes and digital transformation initiatives effectively.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Essential
- Strong understanding of drawing governance and compliance frameworks.
- Proven ability to lead process improvement and assurance initiatives.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
- Familiarity with digital tools and workflows.
- Experience in testing or building digital solutions and driving process modernisation.
Preferred
- Experience supporting digital transformation projects (eg, DC&I).
- Familiarity with BIM principles and ISO 19650 standards.
- Previous experience in a Common Data Environment (CDE), ideally Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
