Job Title: Software Tester (Manual Testing - Contractor)

Remote with occasional visit to Watford office

Contract Length: 12 months

Day Rate: £400 (Inside IR35)

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Manual Tester / Quality Engineer to join our client's IT Infrastructure team on a 12-month contract. You will be a vital member of the test team, ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple projects and test phases, from functional through to staging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing of web-based applications across browsers and platforms.
• Prepare test plans, test data, and test scripts.
• Collaborate with Development, Project Management, Business Analysts, and SMEs.
• Log, reproduce, and re-test bugs using JIRA.
• Provide updates on testing progress and outcomes.
• Flexibly manage multiple test streams and shifting priorities.

Mandatory Skills:

• 5+ years of manual testing experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience writing test scenarios and test scripts.
• Skilled in using JIRA and Confluence.
• Proven experience in manual testing of web applications.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Salesforce or NetSuite experience.
• Previous experience in the car leasing industry.
