Position: OT Cyber Network Security Engineer Contract Length: 12 Months+ (long term for the right person!)Location: Warwick with 2-3 days a month in the office per month, you will need to be fully flexible on travel at times Daily Rate: £500 - £640 Umbrella

About the Role: As an OT Cyber Consultant/Engineer, you will report directly to the OT Security Operations Lead and play a pivotal role in our Digital Products and Solutions team. Your mission? Help shape and implement robust cybersecurity strategies while supporting the delivery of cutting-edge projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Digital Products and Solutions team to define and achieve cybersecurity goals.
  • Validate existing technical documentation to enhance project delivery.
  • Lead deployment activities in OT environments
  • Serve as the go-to contact for customer cyber support during execution projects.
  • Tackle technical queries from Product Lines, providing troubleshooting and solutions.
  • Design and deliver training sessions for internal teams and customers.
  • Foster relationships with key business stakeholders to drive technology adoption.
  • Develop and maintain technical partnerships with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with the ICS group on compliance and best practices.
  • Maintain our cybersecurity lab in Warwickshire with regular visits.
  • Travel globally to customer sites (approximately 10% of your time).

What You Bring:

  • Experience as a control systems engineer or network engineer, with ideally expertise in industrial applications in energy or oil & gas (flex on industry).
  • Hands-on experience implementing cybersecurity in OT environments.
  • Proven skills in configuring and deploying security solutions.
  • Familiarity with Backup and Anti-Malware solutions.
  • Knowledge of industrial cyber regulations, particularly IEC 62443.
  • Experience with remote connection solutions, network switches, and firewalls.
  • Ability to create and manage technical documentation effectively.
  • Preferred certifications: GICSP or similar.
