Our client is on the lookout for a dynamic mid-level developer to join their innovative team, dedicated to building a highly automated, fully Straight-Through Processing (STP) system that meets front-to-back business needs in the rapidly growing Structured Notes (SN) and Structured Products (SP) sectors.

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with a vibrant team including platform teams, sales, trading, structuring, and operations to achieve collective success.
• Build applications, services, and tools aimed at automating pre-trade and post-trade activities, improving decision-making in the SN/SP landscape.
• Optimize the Treasury workstream to enhance STP Rates and support diverse team requests.

Who You Are:

• A tech-savvy individual with experience in front-office equities derivatives systems. Previous experience with SN and SP is a bonus!
• Equipped with a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proficient in designing and developing complex server-side functionality in Python.
• Familiar with SQL (preferably Oracle) and have basic Unix knowledge.
• A self-starter who thrives in an agile environment and is adept at juggling multiple priorities.
• Experienced within the financial services / banking sector

Key Responsibilities:

• Gain a deep understanding of our entire technology stack.
• Design and develop new features within existing Python services and create new services.
• Participate in agile planning with team members and write acceptance tests in coordination with QA.
• Provide Level 3 user support and engage effectively with business and platform partners.
• Enhance our CI pipeline and deployment strategies.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with modern web UI technologies like HTML5, React, RESTful services, and Websockets.
• Knowledge of Structured Products (Notes, Warrants, Certificates) is advantageous.
