Job Title: Senior Project Manager - SAP ERP / S4HANA Migration Location: Windsor (Flexible, occasional office presence required)Remuneration: £600 per day via Umbrella Company Contract Details: Temporary (6 months, strong scope for extension)

With a recent supplier exit necessitating urgent action, you will drive the transition to a robust SAP S/4HANA solution while implementing interim processes to maintain seamless operations. Responsibilities:

• Own Delivery: Lead the full lifecycle of the SAP ERP/S4HANA migration from initiation to go-live and handover.
• Manage Transition: Oversee the replacement project, integrating interim manual processes with long-term SAP solutions.
• Coordinate Teams: Align internal tech teams, external partners, and senior stakeholders for smooth operation stabilization.
• Drive Automation: Implement process automation to replace temporary manual workarounds.
• Streamline Operations: Ensure alignment across supply chain, ERP, and business operations while managing multiple delivery streams.
• Stakeholder Interface: Act as the primary point of contact for British Gas stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and expectation management.
• Delivery Methodologies: Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies, overseeing backlog management, issue tracking, and governance.
• Risk Management: Identify and escalate risks in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
• Governance Compliance: Ensure all deliveries align with corporate standards and governance frameworks.

Key Experience & Skills Required:

• 5-10+ years in Senior IT/Technology Project Management.
• Extensive experience with SAP ERP, specifically in S/4HANA migrations.
• Proven track record of end-to-end SAP programme delivery in complex settings.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes and ERP-driven logistics.
• Experience in urgent, business-critical conditions, particularly during supplier exits.
• Capability to manage manual interim solutions alongside strategic technology initiatives.
• Proficient in third-party and vendor management, with a knack for engaging senior stakeholders.
• Comfortable leading cross-functional teams across IT, business, and external partners.
• Agile/Scrum experience is a plus.

Desirable:

• Background in energy, utilities, or retail supply chain sectors.
• Familiarity with large corporate organizations similar to British Gas/Centrica.
• Expertise in process optimization and automation.
