Job Title: Tech Business Analyst
Location: London (3 days per week onsite)
Remuneration: £550 per day via Umbrella
Contract Details: Fixed Term Contract, 6 months

Responsibilities:
Our client is seeking a dynamic Tech Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in a major data transformation programme. This opportunity is perfect for those who thrive at the intersection of business and technology, aiming to enhance data collection, management, and accessibility across the organisation. Key responsibilities include:

• Gather, analyse, and document comprehensive business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with multiple data sources to map and document end-to-end data flows effectively.
• Ensure data is collected, structured, and made accessible for users and downstream systems.
• Support the enrichment and transformation of data for business applications.
• Coordinate with various teams and stakeholders to align data requirements.
• Translate technical concepts into clear business requirements and actionable deliverables.
• Maintain documentation, requirements, and data mapping artefacts in Confluence.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and architects to enhance existing data architecture.
• Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities for improving data quality, governance, and overall usability.

Required Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business analysis within technology or digital transformation programmes, showcasing:

• Proven experience with data-focused projects involving multiple systems and stakeholders.
• Excellent requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with data mapping and documenting complex data flows.
• Ability to translate business needs into detailed technical requirements and vice versa.
• Strong stakeholder management and coordination skills.
• Exceptional communication abilities to operate effectively in both business and technical environments.
• Experience with Confluence for documentation and requirements management.

Technical Environment:
While this role is not hands-on technical, comfort in discussing technical concepts with engineering teams is essential. Knowledge of technologies such as Java, Spring, Microservices Architecture, APIs, and Backend Data Platforms will be beneficial.
