Join Our client as a Technical Writer/Author!Duration: 6 months minimum Location: Remote with ad-hoc travel to Welwyn and potentially Europe Rate: £460-£530 Umbrella Per Day

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! - Our client is looking for a talented Technical Writer/Author to join their dynamic team on a contract basis. This is a remote position with travel to Welwyn or Europe as needed on an ad-hoc basis

What You'll Do:

As a Technical Writer, you will play a crucial role in creating user-friendly documentation that empowers users and enhances their experience. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Crafting Clear Documentation: Develop, edit, and maintain user manuals, guides, and other technical documents that simplify complex topics.
  • Collaborating with Teams: Work closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure accuracy in content.
  • Enhancing User Experience: Create engaging and informative content that helps users navigate products effortlessly.
  • Conducting Research: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure our documentation remains relevant and effective.

Who You Are:

  • Proven Experience: Previous experience as a Technical Writer / Author is essential, preferably in a technology-focused or Pharma environment.
  • Strong Writing Skills: Excellent command of the English language with the ability to write clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with various software tools and platforms used for documentation, such as Markdown, HTML, or content management systems.
  • Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
