Job Title: UX Designer
Duration: 6 months - possibility for extension
Location: Edinburgh New Uberior House (2 days week on site)
Salary: Circa £83-£85k/Annum

What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Working hands-on in Figma every day
- Deliver well-structured, organised design files using an existing corporate design system
- Translate defined product requirements into high-quality UX designs
- Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, Researchers, Content Designers, and Service Designers
- Strong background in User Experience and Interaction Design, with a flair for Visual Design.
- Excellent prototyping and layout skills, with the ability to articulate your vision to both internal customers and development teams.
- Familiarity with complex landscapes, preferably within financial services.
- A collaborative mindset, ready to work closely with a multi-disciplinary team.
- Strong advocacy for customer inclusivity and accessibility, ensuring designs are user-friendly for all backgrounds and abilities.
- Proficiency in Figma and other prototyping software (Sketch, InVision, Axure, Adobe XD).
- Ability to interpret both quantitative and qualitative research to inform your design process.
- Excellent communication skills to ensure designs meet specifications and can be used by a broad range of users.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Crafting an engaging end-to-end user experience, utilising a central design system to create a seamless journey.
- Bringing your designs to life with tools like Figma, Sketch, InVision, Axure, and Adobe XD.
- Balancing business requirements with user needs, gathering insights from user research to align stakeholders.
- Collaborating closely with Product Owners, Developers, Researchers, Content Designers, and Service Designers.
- Supporting your work through to build and release, ensuring accurate implementation alongside engineering teams.
- Advocating for customer inclusivity and accessibility, creating designs that cater to a diverse audience.
