Why this role matters

• The Service Transformation Lab (STL) builds and improves the colleague facing digital experiences that power the Modern Workplace. Using the capability of the ServiceNow platform, we design services that feel simple, intuitive and consumer grade - especially across the Service Catalogue, Employee Centre, and ITSM journeys.
• Your work will directly impact how tens of thousands of colleagues raise technology requests, access information, and receive support.

What you'll do

• Design & deliver high quality ServiceNow enhancements
• Build and improve Service Catalogue items, ensuring clear fulfilment flows, accurate data handling, and smooth colleague experiences.
• Develop features, widgets, and tailored experiences within Employee Centre, helping colleagues find information quickly and navigate with ease.
• Enhance and maintain ITSM processes (Incident, Request, and to an extent Problem) to streamline how support teams work and respond.
• Configure platform elements such as flows, workspace components, data structures, access controls, routing logic, and integrations - without unnecessary complexity.

Work collaboratively within SAFe delivery teams

• Operate as part of an agile squad alongside Product Owners, Analysts, Technical Leads and other Developers.
• Participate in backlog refinement, PI planning, sprint ceremonies, and demos - ensuring development aligns with STL's design principles and strategy.

Translate requirements into scalable solutions

• Work closely with Product Owners and Analysts to understand colleague and operational needs and turn them into reliable platform features.
• Ensure that enhancements follow platform governance, maintainability and security expectations.
• Support testing and release readiness by providing clear documentation, guidance, and demonstrations where needed.

Improve end to end colleague journeys

• Help shape efficient, modern experiences that reduce manual steps, automate fulfilment, improve content discoverability, and support request deflection.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, consolidate, or streamline existing catalogue and ITSM processes.

What you'll bring

• Experience developing on the ServiceNow platform, especially within Catalogue, Employee Centre, or ITSM areas.
• Strong understanding of key ServiceNow configuration approaches such as flows, business logic, ACLs, data modelling, and platform components.
• Ability to work effectively within an agile squad, collaborating openly and contributing to continuous improvement.
• Clear communication skills and the confidence to engage constructively with stakeholders at different levels.
