Interim Senior IT Buyer

Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by our leading Hertfordshire based client to recruit for an Interim Senior IT Buyer until the end of year. This role is an immediate start

The role:

• Support and lead sourcing/negotiation/procurement of IT hardware, software & services
• Contract negotiation - negotiate contract terms, pricing, and SLAs to optimise costs and mitigate risks
• Ensure procurement activities comply with our processes, policies, and controls
• Work closely with colleagues to deliver an excellent IT Procurement service
• Cross-department collaboration, working with IT, finance, legal, commercial and project teams
• Supporting building out category plans, processes, and controls for IT Procurement
