Purchasing Supervisor

Portfolio Procurement has been engaged by a leading IT Hardware company to recruit for a Purchasing Supervisor.

Main purpose of the job

• Managing relationships with suppliers to improve availability and pricing
• Monitor purchasing statistics
• Ensure the adherence to procurement policies and compliance
• Manage and resolve supply chain issues
• Working alongside the logistics team
• Negotiate strategically with suppliers

Job Requirements

• Experience within a procurement and IT reselling is ideal
• Must be a confident decision maker
• Strong negotiation skills
• Advance Microsoft Excel skills
• Must have team leadership experience
