Business Analyst (Construction)

Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Business Analyst (Construction) for our client a government organisation in Bristol, England.

The successful post holder will support a review of our IDOX Uniform and Civica APP Case Management systems.

Experience with IDOX Uniform and Civica APP

This role is a temporary contract initially for 2-3 months with the possibility to extend.

Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Identify and undertake all necessary business analysis tasks including gaining a solid understanding of current ‘as is’ processes and pain points, user needs analysis and requirements elicitation, designing ‘to be’ process maps, flows and documentation.
• Investigating the specific feasibility of migrating users of Civica APP to IDOX uniform and determining and documenting dependencies and synergies between services.
• Work closely with the Project Manager and subject matter experts from the service areas concerned to achieve the Project’s goals.
• Document and communicate your findings and ideas to the project team, service, and other stakeholders.
• Work on your own initiative and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Shape and evaluate options as part of business case development.
• Research how comparable authorities/companies deliver similar services.
• Establishing headline pain-points from SMEs, contract management, costs and Local Authority user-experience that can support a decision on next steps.
• Establishing and validating key facts and information that can help differentiate different uses, volumes and needs.
• Distilling lengthy technical specifications down into digestible products – defining the systems, their scope and function.

Personal Requirements:

• Experience of developing new and existing processes, ideally in a local authority context
• Relevant qualifications

Working Hours: 37hrs / Hybrid Available/ Monday – Friday

Pay: £150 per day
