Data Engineer

Positive Employment is currently recruiting for a Data Engineer for our client a government organisation in Brentwood, Essex.

Our client has begun to build their data infrastructure, using the MS Fabric technologies and need to expand and are looking for a data engineer that will work on data transformation and integration projects.

This role is a temporary contract initially for 6 months with the possibility to extend. Hybrid working preferred, with onsite for projects. Remote available.

Personal Requirements:

  • An experienced data engineer with python developer skills who will re-engineer current dated scripts and processes and move these into a MS Fabric Environment to transformed, store and exported ready for ingestion into target business applications.
  • Skills with python for integrations.
  • Knowledge of database and data manipulation techniques to move data around.

Working Hours: 37hrs / 9:00am - 17:00pm / Monday - Friday

Pay: £29.57 per hour

Please note this role is within the scope of IR35.
