Programme Manager (UK)

We are seeking a Programme Manager to join our UK team!
The Programme Manager is responsible for managing the planning and delivery of Practera’s experiential learning programmes for University customers. Our programmes engage 1,000s of students each year with industry in digitally enabled programmes like team projects and virtual internships.
This role is based in the UK and will be part of our fast-growing, global education technology and services company.
Scope of role:
- Manage programme preparation, planning, delivery, and reporting
- Liaise with and manage key external stakeholders (university partners) to support student recruitment, programme logistics, technical support, evaluation
- Manage allocation of work within the UK programmes delivery team
- Accurate and timely population of programme information in Asana for the Programmes Team visibility
- Manage and support team members aligned with Practera’s values, engaging them in consistent planning, monitoring, development, and performance processes to foster short- and long-term growth.
- Manage and support junior staff to coordinate programmes, including hosting regular team and 1-1 meetings
- Collaborate closely with the UK Industry Engagement team and Industry Partnerships Manager on industry sourcing requirements and progress
- Manage, support and execute on the administrative requirements of programme delivery (for example but not limited to, technical configuration and testing, participant support through multiple channels, responding to inbound programme inbox, facilitating workshops)
- Act as a Practera Platform Power User, managing technical requirements and training of others (internally and externally)
- Create engaging EDMs and customised recruitment materials for students and mentors in line with institution or organisation requirements for programmes
- Manage processes in line with Practera’s global processes and online project and communications management systems (for example, Asana, HubSpot, Slack)

The ideal candidate
We are looking for someone with the following experience and qualities:
- Prior experience managing teams: Proven ability to manage and motivate team members and support professional development
- Prior experience managing functions
- Prior experience managing key external and internal stakeholders to ensure quality programme delivery and support business goals.
- Proven record of managing large-scale programmes at high quality and on-time
- Experience in improving and implementing processes using systems to enhance delivery efficiency
- Ability to connect (university) customer needs to solutions
- Relevant experience in Higher Education, Project Management, Programme Management, or Recruitment would be valuable
- Essential Attributes: Fantastic organisational, verbal, and written communication skills. Self-motivated, comfortable with remote working, and adaptive to fast-paced environments and ambiguity.
