APPLICATIONS DEVELOPER - POWER PLATFORM/.NET/AZURE
A leading law firm is seeking an Applications Developer to join its growing Applications and Development team.
This is a broad, hands-on development role offering the opportunity to design and deliver new business applications while supporting the continued modernisation of the firm's technology environment. You will work across the Microsoft stack, including Power Platform, C#/.NET, SharePoint Online, SQL Server and Azure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and develop greenfield business applications and automated workflows.
- Build solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Develop and maintain applications using C#, ASP.NET and .NET Core/Framework.
- Integrate internal and third-party systems through REST APIs, JSON and XML.
- Develop and customise SharePoint Online solutions.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, prototypes and production-ready solutions.
- Manage testing, releases and deployments through controlled CI/CD processes.
- Maintain, troubleshoot and improve existing applications.
- Work closely with users, technical teams and senior stakeholders.
- Contribute to the adoption of Azure, AI services and other emerging Microsoft technologies.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Commercial experience developing solutions with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Strong C# and .NET development experience.
- JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS.
- SQL Server, including query writing and database development.
- RESTful APIs and systems integrations.
- SharePoint Online development, workflows and application integration.
- Git, Azure DevOps or comparable version-control and CI/CD tooling.
- Experience taking applications from requirements through to production deployment.
- Strong problem-solving, communication and technical-documentation skills.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
- Azure App Services, Azure Functions and Azure SQL.
- Azure AI Foundry, Azure Cognitive Services or other AI-driven solutions.
- Power BI or SSRS.
- VBA or Microsoft Office development.
- ITIL-aligned incident, problem and change management.
- Legal or professional-services applications such as Aderant, Elite or Intapp.
