POWER PLATFORM DEVELOPER
A leading law firm is seeking a hands-on Power Platform Developer to help shape and expand its use of automation and low-code technology across the business.
The firm is investing significantly in technology, with increasing demand for Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Pages and Power BI solutions across multiple departments. This is a genuinely greenfield opportunity to establish best practice, introduce greater Power Platform expertise and become the internal subject-matter expert.
You will join a friendly and supportive applications team that offers considerable autonomy, flexible working and the freedom to shape how solutions are designed, governed, tested and released.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements and identify opportunities for automation.
- Design and build solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps and the wider Microsoft Power Platform.
- Take solutions from initial requirement and design through development, testing, release and production support.
- Help establish Power Platform development standards, governance and deployment processes.
- Develop automated workflows and business applications for departments across the firm.
- Support the continued adoption of SharePoint Online and associated workflow automation.
- Provide technical guidance on Power Platform capabilities, environments and licensing.
- Work alongside .NET-focused developers to integrate Power Platform solutions with existing applications and services.
- Contribute to emerging Azure, AI and legal-technology initiatives.
- Maintain clear technical documentation and communicate solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- Approximately three to five years' commercial low-code or Power Platform experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power Automate.
- Experience designing and developing Power Apps.
- Evidence of personally taking solutions from requirements gathering through to delivery.
- Experience working with business users and translating their needs into practical technical solutions.
- Understanding of Power Platform environments, governance and licensing.
- Experience testing, releasing and supporting Power Platform solutions in a commercial environment.
- A proactive, customer-focused approach with strong communication and stakeholder skills.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
- Power Pages.
- Power BI.
- Dataverse and model-driven applications.
- Azure DevOps, CI/CD or Power Platform ALM.
- SharePoint Online workflows and integrations.
- Azure Functions, Azure services or AI-enabled solutions.
- C#/.NET, JavaScript, APIs or SQL Server.
- Experience within legal, professional services or another stakeholder-led environment.
