Delivery Analyst (Agile/Business Applications)

We are supporting a forward-thinking professional services organisation as they continue to invest in their technology and delivery capabilities. As part of this growth, they are looking to hire a Delivery Analyst to play a key role in connecting business needs with technical delivery.

The Role

As a Delivery Analyst, you will act as the connective tissue between business stakeholders and the Applications team-taking ideas and requests, shaping them into clear deliverables, and guiding them through to release.

You will be responsible for managing demand, refining requirements, running agile processes, and ensuring high-quality outcomes that meet user needs. Initially, you will focus on a Business Applications team, with scope to expand your impact across a wider technology function over time.

Key Responsibilities

Shape the Work

  • Act as the first point of contact for incoming requests from across the business
  • Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into clear user stories
  • Define acceptance criteria and capture both functional and non-functional requirements
  • Manage and prioritise the backlog in collaboration with key stakeholders

Run the Work

  • Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Coordinate dependencies across multiple teams
  • Track delivery progress using metrics such as velocity and sprint health
  • Manage risks, issues, and blockers, ensuring clear communication throughout
  • Utilise tools such as Azure DevOps (or similar)

Land the Work

  • Coordinate and manage user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle
  • Support release planning, user communications, and post-release activities
  • Promote a minimum loveable product mindset, focusing on delivering real user value

About You

  • 2-4 years' experience in delivery, business analysis, product, or scrum-related roles
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience supporting sprint delivery
  • Skilled in writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria
  • Experience coordinating UAT and working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate between business and technical teams
  • Strong organisational skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset

Desirable:

  • Agile or business analysis certifications (eg Scrum, PSM, CSM, SAFe, BCS)
  • Experience within professional services or similar environments
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar platforms
