End User Computing (EUC) Engineer

About the Role

We are working with a highly regarded professional services organisation undergoing significant growth, where technology plays a key role in delivering business success.

They are seeking an experienced End User Computing (EUC) Engineer to join their IT team, responsible for delivering a high-quality, secure, and reliable end user experience across the business.

This is a hands-on 3rd line role within a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and support end user devices (laptops, desktops, mobile devices)
  • Provide 3rd line support for EUC-related issues
  • Manage and support Microsoft 365 services (including OneDrive)
  • Administer endpoint management tools (Intune, SCCM, Autopilot)
  • Maintain standard operating environments and device configurations
  • Package and deploy applications across the organisation
  • Monitor and optimise user experience using DEX tools (e.g. Nexthink)
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell automation scripts
  • Ensure endpoint security, compliance, and best practice standards
  • Support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments and image management
Key Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in an EUC / Desktop Engineering role
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 11 & Microsoft 365
  • Experience with Intune, SCCM, Autopilot
  • Solid understanding of Active Directory & Azure AD
  • Experience with application packaging and deployment
  • PowerShell scripting for automation
  • Mobile Device Management (iOS) experience
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware and software
  • Experience supporting users in a professional services environment
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders

Desirable:

  • Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
  • Exposure to Digital Employee Experience tools (e.g. Nexthink)
  • Experience with enterprise laptop environments (Dell/Lenovo)
  • Knowledge of document management systems (e.g. iManage)
