My client is looking to recruit a highly motivated and personable Technical Support Engineer to provide remote customer support for their specialist machinery. This role will be focused on diagnosing faults, supporting customers remotely, and delivering high-quality technical assistance across a broad range of disciplines.

My client is looking to recruit a highly motivated and personable Technical Support Engineer to provide remote customer support for their specialist machinery. This role will be focused on diagnosing faults, supporting customers remotely, and delivering high-quality technical assistance across a broad range of disciplines.
The Role - Technical Support Engineer:
- Providing day-to-day remote support to customers via phone, email and remote access systems
- Handling cases for laser systems, including software, networking, mechanical, electrical, error codes, and hardware-related issues.
- Working as part of a fast-paced team.
- Diagnosing and fixing faults on machines, mainly electrical and system issues
- Guiding customers through troubleshooting and resolving problems
- Raising quotes for parts, servicing and repairs using internal systems
- Working closely with field engineers when needed
- Using Salesforce CRM
- Installing and setting up software for customers
- Ensuring all customer issues are resolved quickly and effectively
- Experience providing remote support to customers in IT, networking or engineering
- Has a strong IT and network background or experience
- Strong working knowledge of remote desktop tools
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficient using a CRM system for caseload management or similar
- Happy to work in a fully office-based role.
- Commutable to NE35 postcode daily with use of own vehicle.
- Holds a full UK driving licence.
- Happy to travel for product training.
- Salary £30,000-£35,000 DOE
