Full Stack Engineer
I am currently partnering with a highly successful manufacturer of scientific testing equipment that is looking for a Full Stack .NET Developer to join their product development team. This is a brilliant opportunity to play a key role in developing new digital products that enhance their established scientific software platform.

Location: Nottingham (Hybrid)
Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum
Job Type: Permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Stack Development: Designing and developing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code across backend and web layers.
- Product Innovation: Contributing across the full software development lifecycle to deliver secure, high-quality features for a digital product portfolio.
- Security & Compliance: Implementing secure authentication and session management approaches appropriate for software applications.
- Architecture: Contributing to architectural decisions and supporting the development of technical standards and best practices within the team.
Essential Requirements
- Core Tech Stack: A minimum of 3 years' professional experience developing with C# and the .NET ecosystem (.NET 6/8+).
- Front-End Skills: Strong proficiency in Angular and/or TypeScript.
- APIs & Auth: Proven experience integrating with REST APIs and a solid understanding of secure authentication patterns (token handling and session management).
- DevOps Basics: Experience using Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Mindset: A positive, growth-oriented mindset with a genuine interest in science, technology, and innovation.
Desirable Requirements
- Mobile Development: Hands-on experience developing cross-platform mobile applications using frameworks like React Native, .NET MAUI, or Xamarin.
- Regulated Environments: Experience working within pharmaceutical, laboratory, medical device, or FDA-regulated software environments (e.g., GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, GMP, GLP).
- Tools & Collaboration: Experience using Jira and Confluence as part of day-to-day project delivery , or experience mentoring developers.
