Network Infrastructure Engineer

Location : Central London or Hampshire

Hybrid : 2 days per week on-site

Salary : Up to £75,000

We are seeking a Network Infrastructure Engineer to join our client who will manage and optimise both traditional and cloud-based network infrastructures. This role focuses on Meraki Enterprise, Palo Alto Firewalls, and a mix of physical and cloud environments across multiple sites. You will drive innovation, enhance network security, and automate processes, all while contributing to professional growth and organisational transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure across multiple locations and cloud platforms (Azure)
• Manage Meraki Networks, Palo Alto Firewalls
• Implement network security measures, including ACLs, DDoS protection, and firewalls
• Automate network tasks for increased efficiency
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, driving incident resolution
• Collaborate with InfoSec and Security teams to ensure robust security
• Monitor network performance and optimise capacity planning
• Provide network expertise for internal and external projects

Skills & Experience:

• Expertise in TCP/IP, subnetting, and modern network technologies
• Experience with Meraki, Palo Alto Firewalls, and cloud platforms
• Experience configuring and supporting WAN technologies including BGP, OSPF, VPNs and IPSEC
• Strong skills in Azure, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
• Automation experience with Cloudflare or similar tools
• Solid understanding of WAN technologies, DHCP/DNS, SAN/NAS, and virtual servers
• Strong problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills

In return they can offer a salary of up to £75,000 depending on experience, with total package increasing over £80,000, hybrid working and many other benefits.
