Location: Northampton – Office-based, 5 days per week
About the Role
We are working with a small to medium sized company in Northampton seeking a Network Support Engineer to join their team. You'll be the first point of contact for support issues for the internal team, this can be anything from password resets to network issues and laptop builds.
This role is perfect for someone with existing IT/networking experience.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to internal queries via phone and email, diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
Provide support for networking, internet connectivity
Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
Escalate complex issues to senior engineers when required.
Essential Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Solid understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, VPNs).
Experience with routers, switches, and firewalls.
