System Architect
I am currently partnered with a highly accredited Microsoft Partner who are looking for a Systems Architect to join their senior leadership team. This is a pivotal role acting as the design authority for complex cloud transformations, specifically across the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
- Design Authority: Providing technical leadership and high-level design across Microsoft cloud services, with a heavy focus on Azure infrastructure.
- Consultancy & Presales: Acting as a technical author and consultant to support presales and the full project delivery lifecycle.
- Innovation: Evaluating and implementing emerging technologies, including Azure AI, automation, and modern data platforms.
- Mentorship: Coaching and mentoring engineering teams to ensure high-quality outcomes and knowledge sharing across the business.
- Security & Compliance: Ensuring all architectural designs meet stringent security standards, including ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus.
Skills & Experience Required
- Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of Azure (IaaS, PaaS, Identity, Networking) and the Microsoft 365 stack.
- Architecture Experience: Proven track record in designing and migrating complex, enterprise-level cloud and hybrid environments.
- Specialisms: Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep), Azure Virtual Desktop, or Azure Local (HCI) is highly advantageous.
- Certifications: Ideally holding AZ-305 (Solutions Architect Expert), though other senior Microsoft certifications (AZ-104, SC-100, DP-203) are highly valued.
- Consultative Approach: Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and solve complex technical challenges.
