Third Line Engineer (Server and Storage)

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

Location: High Wycombe

Hybrid: 3 days a week in the office

About the Role

A client of ours is a managed service provider that is growing at a healthy pace and is looking to hire another Third-Line Support Engineer. We are looking for someone with experience in the Microsoft Windows tech stack and the ability to build VMware from scratch.

The company are small to medium-sized and is looking to grow due to an increasing client base. Based near High Wycombe, the role will be hybrid working where you can work from home two days a week and come into the office three days a week. However, during the probation period, the position will be on-site 5 days a week.

Skills Required

• Experience working in a 3rd Line support position
• Windows Server
• VMware builds from scratch
• Hardware setups with HPE and DELL PowerEdge
• Network Storage Solutions – SAN/NAS
• Routers, Switches, Firewalls, VLANs
• Installing and configuring backup solutions (Veeam)
• Office365 administration (Intune)
• ITIL certified or experience of working in an ITIL environment
• Microsoft or Cisco certifications are desirable but not essential
